Ways of Working

Each approach is a different doorway into the unconscious. The one you choose depends on what you’re seeking.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions held weekly or biweekly, each 50 minutes. The work is open-ended; there is no fixed endpoint. Over time, patterns emerge: recurring dreams, persistent moods, familiar relationship dynamics. These are not problems to solve, but messages to receive.

The setting is consistent: same room, same time, same chair. This consistency is what allows the unconscious to speak, because the mind knows, finally, that it will be heard.

Dream Work

Dreams are the unconscious’s primary language. In dream work, we don’t look for a single “meaning.” Instead, we listen to the dream as a living entity, allowing it to reveal itself through image, emotion, and association.

A single dream can carry layers of meaning: personal, archetypal, mythic. Each layer speaks to a different part of the psyche. The task is not interpretation, but deep listening.

Active Imagination

Active imagination is a Jungian technique for dialoguing with unconscious contents: the inner figures, voices, or sensations that carry unconscious energy. It might look like writing a conversation with a dream figure, drawing an archetypal image, or sitting with a feeling and letting it unfold.

This is not a guided visualization. It is an unscripted encounter with the unconscious, and each time, the unconscious surprises.

Individuation Coaching

For those in the midst of a midlife transition or other deep shift, individuation coaching offers a structured way to engage with the deeper self. It draws on the Jungian understanding of the individuation process rather than conventional coaching frameworks.

Typically 6-12 sessions, each 90 minutes. Between sessions, you’ll receive short audio recordings with prompts for reflection and active imagination.
